Time for a summer break!
We’re taking a summer break. Here are some book tips and our most read articles for you to review while we are drinking cocktails ;)
Last summer, Willem and I (David) were sipping wine and decided to start writing The IT/OT Insider. We had no idea it would grow so quickly! We've penned over 40,000 words, launched a podcast, and recently unveiled our new website, itotinsider.com, which we will expand over the next months.
The best part?
The amazing feedback from all of you.
This summer, we're not slowing down. We're working on exciting new content (subscribe to be the first to know!) and we've even expanded our core team from two to three IT-OT geeks. Exciting times ahead!
However, we won't be publishing as frequently on the blog this and next month.
How You Can Help Us
Our blog is free and will always be. We write to reach people in the Manufacturing sector, Process Industry, and Critical Infrastructure worldwide. Here's how you can help:
Share Our Articles: Spread the word to your peers (check below for our most influential pieces).
Recommend Us: Know a website or medium that might repost our content? Let them and us know!
We are also actively looking for someone who has undergone a real (and full) IT/OT Convergence journey (that means: IT and OT are truly one organization). We’d like to talk to you and learn from your experiences as we haven't seen too many examples yet.
What to read (our top 5 articles)
If you like to know what we would read during a break, check out our “Mini IT/OT library” here. It’s our fifth most read article 🙂
On number 4 we find our series on Operational Data Platforms. This series has become the most influential story line from an OT technology point of view and we are super proud of all five parts we’ve written.
Our very first article has made it to number 3: it’s an introduction to the Purdue model
On number 2 we find yet another part on Operational Data Platforms: the difference between IT and OT data. This first part is especially important to share with someone who is less (or not) familiar with how sensor data actually works.
And finally… our number 1 article… it made our name, is the most shared article on LinkedIn: our IT/OT Cooperation Models 🎉
